    You can train your oblique muscles (sides), but that will not get rid of them. The only way to get rid of love handles is to do lots of cardio and diet. also drink plenty of water, 8 glasses per day. Also do cardio 4-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes. hope this helps. Look up excersizes for your oblique muscles

    You can’t spot reduce, so there are no specific exercises that are going to target one particular problem area. For example, people are always asking how they can get six-pack abs — well you can do crunches till the cows come home, and those six-pack abs WILL develop — but if they are covered in a layer of fat, neither you nor anyone else will be able to see them.

    Love handles are as you have already realized, fat, so the only way to get rid of them is to lose that fat. If you are overweight, you can reduce the fat by losing weight. If you are already at a healthy weight, you want to focus on gaining muscle to replace that fat.

    Cardio cardio cardio is the key to both situations. You’ve got to burn off the fat with cardio. You will either lose weight, or, if you combine the cardio with weight training, you can replace that fat with muscle (an even better option), and you may not lose actual pounds, but you will find that you lose inches, and you can get rid of those love handles.

    Unfortunately you can’t lose weight only in specific areas. Your body stores fat in areas and burns fat in areas due to your genetic makeup, not how you exercise. If you want to get rid of fat in one area you will need to exercise and eat less, but you can’t control where you will lose that weight. that’s up to your body.
